According to John Maxwell, followers ask these three questions about their leader: “Do you care for me?” “Can you help me?” “Can I trust you?” The first goes with the saying “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!” and if they know you care they will reciprocate and care for the cause you’re leading them on. I bet you can agree that everybody needs a little help sometimes, Can your team members count on you in times of need? How do you ensure they are adequately resourced to deliver on the mandate? Lastly Trust is the foundation of all relationships. Where trust is limited people are guarded and only meet expectations, Whereas in trust one is secure enough to bend backwards and dare to exceed expectations. In what ways do you demonstrate “Care” for your team members? How considerate, of your team members, are you? Is your character building trust in your team members?#PinnaLeadRaisingTheLeadershipLid
