Word of the day: Grit!

We are on day 1 of the last month of the year. A lot of us are looking back at the goals we had when we started 2021. Some of those goals have been achieved and some have remained “just goals” along the year.

We have all had our fair share of challenges this year. And some of those challenges are the reason why we gave up on some of our goals.

As we prepare ourselves for 2022, I would like to share with you the word that separates the doers from the talkers. That word is, “Grit!”.

“Grit is having the courage to push through no matter what the obstacles are, because it’s worth it.” – Chris Morris

How many of your goals did you give up on, because along the way the journey became extremely difficult for you? I admit, this year was really challenging for all of us, we lost loved ones, our businesses, our jobs and a whole lot more. How many of us have allowed all our pain, loss and struggles to stop us from going after our dreams?

I’m here to remind you that “GRIT” is the courage to pick yourself up, dust yourself up and get back into your life. Get back to your dreams.

As we will be starting another year in a months time, be encouraged to start again if you had stopped. Grit comes from a personal resolve that you are bigger than your problems. You are capable of so much more. It comes from the faith that, as long as you don’t stop, you will achieve your dreams in due time.

Take this last month of the year to review your 2021 journey. Let all the lessons learnt, empower you to give your best in 2022🤝
